When I was first coming out, YouTube had only just been created—and it was a fraction of its current size. Even when it became more popular, there were very few LGBT content creators uploading videos. As a baby queer, the only place I could really find information about coming out was on text-heavy websites and message boards—not very exciting! LGBT teenagers today are so lucky. These days, there are so many incredible women-loving women on YouTube creating professional, relatable, beautiful videos. Jessica is a deaf and disabled lesbian who vlogs on issues affecting the LGBT and disabled communities, and makes gorgeous videos about history, vintage beauty, and married life with her wife Claudia and their two adorable dogs.
